Snake!
Daddy caught this snake on the second day we were at Lake Ontario. It was a garter snake. It was staring at me (Coral Snake is writing this).

Was that yellow with black stripes or black with yellow stripes??...oh well, one of them is supposed to be poisonous :)
It's black with yellow stripes and a common Garter snake.
You can usually tell a poisonous snake more by the shape of the head - if it's more the triangular shape vs what you see here.
I don't think the color or stripes is the issue much.
